About the game

Melbourne Pothole Dodger is a free browser game inspired by 16-bit kart racers from the early nineties. You drive a battered hatchback down Melbourne streets and try to survive the potholes, roadworks, car chases and everything else the city throws at you.

It plays on computers, phones and tablets, with nothing to download or install.

It's a joke

Everything in the game is satire about life on Melbourne's roads. The headlines are made up, the street names are used for fun, and nothing here is affiliated with any council, government department, police force, news outlet or game company.

The game doesn't encourage anyone to buy illegal tobacco, carry a weapon or drive dangerously. Please don't do any of those things in real life.

Found a real pothole?

Report it. Local roads are looked after by your council, and major roads by the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning. Both have online forms for reporting road damage.
